Flexible learning spaces and technology change the way we think about learning.

Mrs. Ramsey's new flexible learning space that will allow students to collaborate and communicate easily during her Spanish classes at OWWMS!
It is a very exciting day here in the South Glens Falls School District!  Our four model classrooms are up and running.  In one class, students work in groups to complete surveys describing how they learn best.  They then work together to create these flexible learning spaces in their classrooms.  In other classes, students share their goals on floor to ceiling white board walls then work with the teachers to plan how they can take ownership in their learning.  It is going to be an awesome year as teachers and students work together to move learning forward!

Google Classroom is a great way to use technology in classes to connect with students in and out of school.  This virtual classroom allows teachers to post questions, have group conversations,  assign work, and give feedback.  Teachers in many classrooms are choosing this tech tool to enhance and streamline what is going on in their classrooms.  Click here for an overview of the basics of Google Classroom!
