Voice Record with Ease

When asked today about an app to use to record voice my first instinct was to go to Screencastify, which allows the user to add voice to a live video feed of their computer screen.  While I really like Screencastify and use it often, it does not fill the needs of some teachers that simply want their students to hear a snippet of text, or pages from a book.  That is where Online Voice Recorder comes in.  By going to the Chrome Web Store and typing this into the search bar, you will find a list of apps that will record your voice.  I found Online Voice Recorder easy to use with a great option to edit and cut parts you don't want.  Once it is downloaded, the recorder simply pushes the green button and starts recording voice. When finished, you can play it back to check your work.  By clicking Save, you can save the recording to your desktop and move it to your Drive.  Once in Drive, you can place it in a Google Classroom or in a Shared Folder for students to see and use. There are other features of this 123Apps program such as Video Recorder, and Audio Joiner that have many awesome uses in the classroom!  Take a look at it and let me know what you think!
